Sweet & Spicy Chicken Wings
This is a delicious and easy chicken wings recipe with an Asian twist.
1 1/2 pounds chicken wings
2 tbsp canola oil
3/4 cups plum sauce (store bought)
2 tbsp Sriracha or other hot sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
Salt & freshly ground pepper as needed
Chopped spring onions to garnish
Preheat oven to 400F.
Heat the oil in a large oven-safe pan on high heat.
Sprinkle salt and black pepper all over the chicken wings.
Add the chicken wings in a single layer in the hot oil. Cook the wings for 3 minutes on each side until they are browned.
To prepare the glaze, add the plum sauce, soy sauce, and hot sauce to a small pan over high heat.
Bring to a simmer, reduce heat and simmer until the chicken wings are done.
Pour the glaze all over the chicken wings.
Put the pan in the oven for 20 minutes. Turn the wings over after 10 minutes of roasing.
Remove from oven and serve garnished with spring onions.
