Sesame & Tamarind Chutney
½ cup toasted sesame seeds
3 tbsp tamarind paste
¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
¼ cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
3-4 chopped green chilies or according to taste
½ tsp salt
¼ cup water
Grind the toasted sesame seeds in a coffee or spice grinder until finely ground.
Put the tamarind paste, cilantro, mint, chilies, sesame powder and salt in a food processor along with ¼ cup water and process until smooth. Add more water if needed until desired consistency is reached.
Serve with any savory snack of your choice.
