Ingredients: 
500g minced meat
1 cup curd (yogurt)
2 medium tomatoes (ripe)
2 big onions
1 small bunch coriander leaves (cilantro)
Few fresh mint leaves
Few fresh curry leaves
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tbsp garam masala
10 garlic cloves
4 green chilies
1 inch ginger, peeled
1 tbsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil or ghee (clarified butter)
Salt to taste
1/2 cup hot water
Directions: 
Wash and chop the coriander, mint and curry leaves finely. Grind the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, ginger, one onion, garlic cloves, garam masala and chilies into a paste.
Mix the spice paste, chopped leaves, curd, minced meat and combine thoroughly.. Allow the mixture to marinate for one hour in the refrigerator.
Chop the tomatoes finely and smash them. Slice remaining onion into long slices.
Heat the oil/ghee in a large saucepan and fry the onion slices until they are brown.
Put the meat in the pan and stir fry for about 5 minutes. Cover and cook for about 7-8 minutes. Lift the cover to check that the ghee/oil separates from the meat.
Now mix the smashed tomato with half cup of hot water and pour on the meat mixture. Allow to cook for 5 minutes. Serve warm in a bowl with rice or bread.
