Banana Flower Cooked w/ Paneer

Ingredients:
1 small banana flower
250g paneer(Indian cottage cheese)
2 medium onions
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp chilly powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 medium potato
100ml oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Directions:
Rinse the banana flower and pill off the out layers till the light yellow layers appear.
Cut of the stem and chop the banana flower finely.
Cut the paneer into 3/4th inch cubes. Dice the potato into 3/4th inch pieces. Chop the onion finely.
Cook the dressed banana flower with water in a pressure cooker. Turn off heat after two whistle releases.
Heat the oil in a pan. Put the paneer and potato in the pan and fry until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Put all the spices in the left over oil in the pan, and fry till onion turns light brown stirring occasionally. Mix in salt and turmeric powder.
Mix in the cooked banana flower (without water) and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the fried paneer and potato to the pan. Cook stirring occasionally for another 5 minutes.
Pour little (about 150 ml) water into the pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat as soon as the water evaporates. Serve warm.
