Restaurant Review:
This tiny cafe style restaurant run by Top Chef alum, Saghar dishes out some of the best tasting Persian food in LA.
Tried the excellent sampler trio of Ash Reshteh (traditional Persian soup with fresh herbs, noodles, beans topped with yogurt, mint & caramelized onions), Roasted Eggplant Dip (roasted & seasoned eggplant with caramelized onion, mint & yogurt sauce) and Zereshk Polo (rice mixed with barberries).
The Ghormeh Sabzi, a savory herbs stew with kidney beans, beef and rice was outstanding.
Tip from a regular customer: Get the Ghormeh Sabzi with Tahdig (Persian specialty rice crust).
