Chicken Momo Dumplings

These Naga style, Tibetan inspired dumplings or "Momos" are a very popular Street food or Snack in the Asian Sub-continent.

Ingredients:
1 cup white flour
4 tbsp vegetable oil
5 tbsp ground chicken
2 tbsp copped onion
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
Water as required
Chili Garlic Sauce ingredients:
6 green chillies, soaked in vinegar
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
Salt to taste
Directions:
To make the chili-garlic sauce, chop the green chilies coarsely. Put chilies, garlic, tomatoes and salt in a blender. Blend until smooth and desired consistency is reached. Keep in a small bowl until later.
Knead the flour mixing in 1 tablespoon oil. Add a little water and knead to soften the mixture. Keep aside until later.
Heat the oil in a pan. Put the chopped onion and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add the ground chicken, chili powder, salt and cook for about 5 minutes. Keep aside.
Make small balls with the kneaded flour, and roll into discs.
Put equal portions of chicken mixture in the center of each disc. Fold the wrappers and crimp the sides closed.
Steam the momos in a lined steamer for about 8-10 minutes. Take out from steamer and serve with chilly garlic sauce and green chutney if desired.
