Apple Sauce Brownies
1/3 cup coconut oil
½ cup cocoa
2 cups unsweetened apple sauce
3/4 cup sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup coconut flour, sifted
Preheat oven to 350F.
Melt coconut oil in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add cocoa powder and stir to blend well.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, mix the sugar, vanilla, eggs and apple sauce.
Pour into the cocoa mixture and whisk to blend.
Stir in the coconut flour and mix until blended and smooth.
Pour batter into a greased baking pan. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until done.
Remove from oven. Cool and slice into squares to serve.
